"I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU…HOW TO INTRODUCE GIFT PLANNING INTO CONVERSATIONS WITH REAL PEOPLE"
Community Foundations, their staff and Board members generally have no idea how to introduce gift planning into a conversation with a prospect. This session will address that need, using scripted sentences to elicit interest in gift plans and to introduce gift planning ideas and concepts to most donors and prospects. We rarely know about the specific asset holdings of our donors and prospects, nor their capacity to give nor much about their personal planning goals. These statements elicit valuable leads, using asset choices and planning goals AND NOT the technical aspects of planned gifts to start a meaningful conversation with that prospect. The presentation also contains an answer key, which gift plans can be suggested as the most likely for each stated impediment to giving.
1 – 2 hours. Use with another 1 - 2 hour program that same day to another area audience in same community
