"RECOGNITION PROGRAMS, HOW TO CREATE GIFT ACTIVITY"

Many Community Foundations want to create a recognition society that acknowledges and stewards farsighted donors in the community who have made a gift plan during lifetime and/or in their estate plan. This session will address if such a recognition society drives gift activity, and when and how a society can be created when sufficient numbers sign up. The purpose of such a group and how to recognize donors within the Foundation’s current development program will be covered, as well as opportunities to educate this important group and encourage members to tell others.

1 – 2 hours. Use with another 1 - 2 hour program that same day to another area audience in same community
